Jeanette D. House, 93, of Moline, passed away, June 30, 2024, at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday July 8, 2024, at First Evangelical Free Church, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. The burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.Jeanette was born on January 29, 1931, in Garden Plain, Illinois, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Hook) Bush. She married Samuel Thomas House on October 22, 1954, in Moline, IL. He preceded her in death in 1984. Jeanette had previously been employed as a secretary with the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department and the Rock Island Arsenal. She had also worked as a secretary with Dr. Rauba.
