Kleine, a resident of Bettendorf, will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4097 18th Street, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the gathering space at church. Mr. Kleine died on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at UnityPoint Health, Trinity Bettendorf.Richard G. Kleine was born July 1, 1934, in St. Louis, Mo, the son of George Raymond and Valerie Anita (Garthoffner) Kleine. Dick was united in marriage to Mary Lou Miller on July 6, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wis. Mary Lou passed away on October 11, 2008. Dick served our country as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-59.Dick earned his BS in Industrial Engineering from St. Louis University, his MBA from the University of Iowa and at the age of 78, his Doctorate in Business from St. Ambrose University.
