Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory, Atkinson, Ill. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Mary Ann Yordy Memorial Fund to be distributed amongst local charities.Mary Ann was born May 4, 1947, the daughter of Germain and Cordelia (Laridaen) DeWindt, in Geneseo, Ill. She graduated from Atkinson High School, class of 1965. She was employed as a manager at Casey's and was a homemaker. On July 25, 1969, Mary Ann married Michael Yordy at a service held in Milan, Ill.
