Eddie Fowler Sr.March 17, 1952 - August 18, 2024Eddie Fowler Sr., 72, of Milan, passed away Sunday August 18, 2024 at his home.Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2024, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.Eddie was born on March 17, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of John H. and Laveda F. (Hunt) Fowler.Mr. Fowler graduated from Rock Island High School class of 1971 and attended Black Hawk College.Mr. Fowler had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal as a welder and later with the Corps of Engineers for 30 years before his retirement. He had also worked at John Deere Harvester for some time before working at the Rock Island Arsenal.Mr. Fowler was an active member of the Wildcat Bowling Guild and the Thursday night Rock Island Arsenal mix.Mr. Fowler loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends, home improvement projects around his home, traveling with his bow
