Wood, 86, of Colona, IL, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2024, at her home.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Burial will be at Dayton Corners Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2024, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family or to Holden Cancer Center, University of Iowa.Jackie was born May 31, 1938, in Davenport, IA, a daughter of Edwin and Mildred (Priest) Stanek. She graduated from J.D. Darnell High School, Geneseo. Jackie and Loy Wood were married December 20, 1958, in East Moline, IL.She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her favorite times were those spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.
