Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, Ill.Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd, East Moline, Ill. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline, or Lakeview Baptist Church, Belton, Texas.He was born on November 6, 1939, in Mason County, Ill., the son of Harold Prettyman and Elsie Mae Howe Prettyman. He married Rebecca Clark on February 18, 1961, in Delevan, Ill. at the United Methodist Church. Lyman graduated from Havana High School Havana, Ill. He attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill., as well as University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo.He was a self-employed insurance agent and registered investment advisor for over 45 years
