Herron, Jr., 64, of Rock Island, formerly of Little Rock, Ark., died Sunday, January 19, 2025 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island. Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded and there will be no services. Memorials may be made in care of an animal rescue facility of your choice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.Kenny Rae was born 64 years ago in Nashville, Tenn., a son of Kenneth Sr. and Aunalee Ratliff Herron. He was raised in Little Rock, Ark. Kenny loved his family - his children, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and dogs with all he had. His truest love was his wife, Jacquetta who he loved for over 25 years since they were teenagers. They wed on May 5, 2007.
