Walseth, 98 of Bettendorf passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport with a prayer service offered at 4 p.m. There will be additional visitation Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass in the gathering space church.Patrick was born on April 2, 1926, in Lake Benton, Minnesota, a son of Edwin T. and Genevieve (Noonan) Walseth.He served our country in the U.S. Navy in World War II and his ship, the USS LSM 43 participated in the invasion of Iwo Jima.
