He was born on February 13, 1939, in Clarion, Iowa, and was a lifelong resident of Hampton, Illinois, and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.William dedicated his career to Case IH for 38 years, where he served as a General Foreman, earning the respect of his colleagues and fostering a sense of camaraderie among his team until he retired in 1999. A man of great passion, he was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the Fighting Illini. William also found joy on the golf course, where he was an esteemed member of the Golfmohr Golf Club in East Moline.
