Adam S. Nitzel, 59, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, January 24, 2025, at home.Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Adam Scott Nitzel was born November 25, 1965, in Moline, the son of Carl Alfred and Karen Kay (Remaly) Nitzel. He graduated from Moline High School in 1982. He worked many years with his dad and brother and prided himself on being a dual-tradesman of construction and floor-covering.He enjoyed concerts, fishing, and a variety of music and sports with an overzealous passion for the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed making people laugh with his occasional bold statements and jokes. He was a competitive man who loved playing euchre, cornhole, and poker. Adam is survived by his father, Carl Nitzel of Moline; his brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Andrea Nitzel of Coal Valley; his son, Ryan; and his life partner Rhonda Curl and her children.
