Frank SerraOctober 1, 1950 - March 11, 2025Frank Anthony Serra Jr., 74, of Silvis, IL passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in the presence of his loved ones at Genesis Silvis.Visitation services for Frank will be Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, between the hours of 4 to 7 p.m.; a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Following the church service, we will travel to the burial site at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.Frank was born October 1, 1950, in Moline, IL, the son of Frank Anthony Serra Sr. and Leona Carr Serra. He married Theresa Girt in 1970 and they had six children. He later married Debra Young on July 27, 2022. Frank attended Augustana College and Drake University, and became a pharmacist. He opened up The Medicine Stop in East Moline in the early 1980's. After his dad's death, he closed The Medicine Stop and worked full time at Frank's Pizza
