Ketelsen, 83, of Moline, Ill., passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Mercy One Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, Ill.Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., prior to services. Private burial will take place at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.Lennis was born on February 13, 1942 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to John and Eva (Pierson) Ketelsen. He graduated from Cedar Valley High School in Somers, Iowa in 1961. Lennis married Sharon Rose Kuehl on February 16, 1979. She preceded him on November 25, 2024. Lennis retired from Alcoa where he was a member of the United Glass and Steel Workers Union for several decades.Lennis enjoyed woodworking, building things and spending time with his dog, Ella. His most precious moments were those spent with his grandchildren, as he loved being a grandfather.Lennis is survived his childr
