Jeanne L. Smith, 87, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.Services are 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.Jeanne Louise Smith was born October 4, 1937, in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of Edmund and Helene (Roy) Gauthier. She graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn, Maine and later worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for over 37 years. Jeanne married Donald E. Smith on October 1, 1976, in Davenport, Iowa.Jeanne is survived by her; children, Shirley (Perry) Fabley of Decatur, Illinois, and David (Victoria) White of Davenport; grandchildren, Christina, Tyler, Todd, and Kari; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sylvia Gauthier of East Moline.
