Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral ceremony will be held at DeRoo Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 26 at 12:30 p.m., followed by committal services at Rock Island National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Vietnam Veterans, Ch. 299.Darwyn was born August 29, 1943, in Hays, KS to Jake and Margaret (Rebel) Herrman. He was previously married to Janice Leonard and Mary Jo Camareno.Darwyn graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1961 and finished his education at Palmer Chiropractic before being drafted into the US Army. He served his country honorably in Korea as a Sergeant and worked as an office manager for the Judge Advocate General, having received the National Defense Service Medal.He retired from Valley Construction as an Account Manager and previously worked for Mahler Concrete as a Co
